I was just curious to see which yall trust in terms of info on sports. I've knwn SI writers to be misleading and tend to exaggerate rumors a little bit, but I've found TSN to be more grounded and realistic. I don't know if it's just me, but I think the writing in Sports Illustrated has actually gotten worse in the past few years.

SI doesn't even cover the NBA in the offseason, while TSN gives reports on every team every week.

But anything that goes down gets posted here anyway.

I get the sporting news, primarily because there are team reports every week and it's cheaper. I think it's more involved in actually covering sports than digging up stories. However, Sporting News doesn't have a Swimsuit Issue. :)

By the way, is the NBA Preview of SI out yet? Anyone?

I have been saying this for over 8yrs now - I will NEVER buy an issue of SI - they suck. Does anyone else remember them trying to shank the Rockets out of a Championship cover issue after the first championship? I will never forget it.

I do have two issues though, both were gifts, they are the 2 issues with the 93 and 94 Champs (Hakeem and Clyde) on the covers.

As far as TSN goes, overpriced. I used to get ESPN the Mag. But why pay for info that I can get for free on the net? ;)

Another good reason for a Clutchcity magazine. Nothing else compares.

I prefer SI for their in depth articles...

I remember a great Charlie Ward story back when he was at FSU... Their positive athlete stories are unparalleled.

ESPN Mag is nothing but a paper advertisement for ESPN, Sportscenter, and ESPN Radio

TSN is overpriced for me. I prefer stories to short team reports, but thats just me.
