A player strike developed today in the NBL (National Broomball League). Players on every team in the 1 team league simultaneously dropped their brooms and refused to play until the sport was acknowledged by ESPN. A spokesman for ESPN was reached for comment. "I use brooms to sweep up the bathrooms... do you want to be my friend?", Benny the custodian was heard to say. The league is still brainstorming various methods of removing all the unused brooms littering ice rinks (rink). A new broom has just been developed for Siamese Witches. The new broom was the result of several complaints to the department of consumer affairs about discrimination against Siamese Witches.
