Can someone please explain to me what a 'hip pointer' is?? Apparently Kenny has one.

A mix of good and bad stuff written here, but it is slightly improving with Franchise back.

    POSITIONAL ANALYSIS

Point guard: Need we say more? Grade: A

Shooting guard: Mobley hasn't adjusted yet to being back as the No. 2 option, as evidenced by his shooting of late. Mobley has made just seven of his last 35 shots (20 percent). It'll come with time. Grade: B

Small forward: Griffin is showing his versatility by playing all three frontcourt positions. In six starts, Griffin is averaging 18.7 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks, hitting 48.9 percent of his shots. Yeah, this guy's pretty good. And he's averaging four blocks over his last four games. Grade: A

Power forward: The Rockets are now at the point where rookie Terence Morris is starting here, which isn't good. Morris has made just five of 24 shots over his last five games, even though he is beginning to show promise as an athletic rebounder. Grade: C-

Center: Kelvin Cato is averaging only 3.5 rebounds over his last four games, which isn't getting it done. You can say what you want about his offense, but he's rarely an option. But there's no excuse for such poor rebounding and shotblocking (one per game over his last five). Grade: D

Griffin at the SF must be an error. Murphy must be slacking on the proof read.

I used to like reading these but then Murphy writes that Walt can still shoot. He's now totally untrustworth on the facts department. Walt's shooting 38 % from the field this year, 0-10 in his last game, which is low even by the Rocket's slipping standards.

To his credit, Walt is shooting just under 40% from 3 pt land, at 39.6%.

Griffin has still not played a minute at the 3. Someone needs to remind them to watch the games, not the box scores.

When you walk around and say "OW!" on every step because you have a stabbing pain in your hip, then THAT'S a hip pointer...I've had one before. It's one of those injuries that players think they can play through, but a hip pointer hurts like hell. I remember when Charles Barkley got elbowed by Stickman Bradley in Dalls one night and got a hip pointer

The ESPN article about Cato on his way to becoming least improved was as accurate as they come. I could live with the early season 9pts 8rebs, but his production now is just plain sorry.
