Don't read if you don't want to know...

The Flash -- Barry Allen, the one, true Silver Age Flash who died in Crisis on Infinite Earths in 1985 -- is back.

One by one DC killed half of the Justice League (Barry Allen, Hal Jordan Green Lantern, Ollie Queen Green Arrow, Katar Hol Hawkman) and one by one they've brought them back, with the slight exception of Katar Hol. The Hawkman they brought back was a hybrid of him and Carter Hall. Diehard fans will understand the distinction.

Seems kind of stupid to kill them and bring them back, but they're correcting big and stupid mistakes and I'm happy to see it. I'm going to the comic store now for the first time in two years.

I liked Wally. Never read a story with Barry Allen in it! Loved the TV show, though.

I don't read DC comics, but I heard good things coming from their 52 series.

I never met anyone who actually read DC. So is Jim Lee still at DC? How is/was his run?

Smelled this coming during that Lightning Saga story line in JLA. But what does this mean for Wally?

EDIT: Forgot to mention Bart Allen, poor guy, his stint was over (killed off) quicker than the Flash could blink.

so ... i'm going to get killed by the real fans here ... but does anyone know where to find Justice League episodes? I know the characters are bastardized and all that, but they were entertaining ... and I don't have cable now.

I just barely started reading comics again (mostly trades), but some of DC's stuff has been fantastic.

Geoff Johns has been writing great, great stuff. DC was smart to put so much in his hands.
