    I figured this thread made the most sense to keep this thing going. If you can watch HD quicktime trailers, here's the link to the new Spidey trailer. Since it's on quicktime, you can now get some nicer looks at what Venom looks like and watch the "spider on spider" action in slow mo. If you have a lot of time, there is a little mini doc about the black costume in the comics but it ends before we get to Venom. Really long but good, I'm sure it'll be on the DVD and probably make more sense to watch it then.

    That looks freaking EPIC! Finally got to see Venom... "Hey Parker". SWEET!

    Anyone else think that Gwen Stacey girl looks like Elisha Cuthbert?

    doubt it, the first trailer focused on Sandman, and this one focused on Green Goblin v2.0 and Venom. If anything I would think GG/Venom are the minor villains.

    suffice it to say, i'm really excited about this movie. mostly excited about the experience of it...buying tickets in advance with my older son. going to dinner with my family before the show...the anticipation as the show starts and the music kicks in. can't wait!

    AWESOME!

    I love the end of the above trailer where Spidey is shown terrified (perhaps because Venom doesn't trigger his spider-sense) and gets snatched from above... I was a little concerned that Raimi wouldn't do Venom justice, but that one little snippet totally nailed the feel of the first few Venom stories.
