Our closing weekend is sold out with more than 50 people on standby on each night, but IBP has just announced dates for a remount. Details below. Tickets are on sale now and will go very fast. Hope some of you can make it. SPEEDING MOTORCYCLE RETURNS! After a madcap run of soldout shows and critical acclaim from the New York Times, the Houston Chronicle and the Houston Press, SPEEDING MOTORCYCLE is BACK! That's right, you have 3 more chances to see this irresistable rock opera. Don't miss the show dubbed "the cult hit of Houston's summer" by the Houston Chronicle. Runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays August 10 - 12, with a possibility of an extension after that. Call the office at 713-522-8443 for reservations, or buy online at www.infernalbridegroom.com.
THANK YOU BATMAN!!! I was going to go this weekend, but something came up. PHEW! I thought I was going to miss it.
Glad you guys will get a chance to see it. Reserve your tickets soon. We could pretty much sell out that weekend just with the people we're turning away today and tomorrow.
Ha ha. It was not meant to be, Batman. I have an out of town wedding that weekend. Sounds made up after my last excuse, doesn't it?
Just as long as it was not the last week in August when...wait for it...I have an even farther-out-of-town wedding to attend.
I went AGAIN last night and can't say how wonderful this show is! I've seen this show four times already. If you have any desire to see this show, I highly recommend to follow up on that desire and make reservations! IBP's interpretation of Daniel Johnston's music is top notch and brings a whole new dimension to the lo-fi recordings you may know. GO SEE THIS SHOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!
Ah, I wanted to make this but I can't - spent my travel money on a plane ticket to the Touch & Go festival in Chicago on Sept. 8-11 (Big Black will be playing!), and it doesn't coincide with the time I'll be flying out of Houston.
Sweet... looks like it's extended til September... sorry Batman, I still haven't found time to go yet. I really have no excuse now that it's extended to September. I'm gonna try to make the show on the 25th or 26th.
Congrats Batman...Hope things are going well...Maybe it'll still be running when I get back in town...
NUTS! I would love to see this. My wife and I are fans of the theatre, and I'd love to see "Batman Unplugged!" We won't be in town before it closes, however, and didn't make a trip or two that we'd intended to make to H-town this summer. Bummer! Batman, it sounds like a great success. I wish you could put it on in Austin for a run. Congratulations!
Only two more weeks left to catch this. It must close on September 2nd to make room for the next show. We've been sold out through the entire remount so far. If you want to catch this, call 713-522-8443 or order online at infernalbridegroom.com. But do it fast. We will sell out the rest of the run and soon. If you make it by, make sure to introduce yourself.
Were you there? rockHEAD: Thanks for the kind words and thanks even more for coming to the show so many times. King Cheetah: Maybe. thad: Bummer. rrj: Hope so. Bernie: What are you waiting for? Deckard: Bummer. But it's hardly "Batman Unplugged." It's a rock opera. Some of it's acoustic, but a lot of it rocks like hell.
