First of all, I know that this is not the Classifieds forum, but I wanted to post this here because I do think this is an extremely worthwhile cause. I hope Clutch lets me keep this here so more people can see it, and it would be great if this could get a Sticky.

We have an Aggie soldier in Iraq (an absolutely great guy!!) who purchased 5 leather jackets that he is selling with all proceeds going towards the purchase of wheelchairs to be given to disabled Iraqi children.

He arranged to have each jacket sewn with an official Operation Iraqi Freedom patch on the left shoulder. A brown American flag is sewn on the right shoulder. Also, the winning builder will have their name embroidered on a fabric plate which will be sewn on the front right chest of the jacket. The inside lining has a map of Iraq, and is the actual bomber jacket Military Pilots buy at the PX, making them (legal) authentic war memorabilia.

These are really cool jackets and more importantly, they are for a very worthwhile cause. If you are looking to purchase a jacket, I sincerely encourage you to look at these jackets. Thanks.

That's a really sweet looking jacket. I'm big into retro military gear, so I'm def. interested. Are there going to be 5 separate auctions?

Yes. He said that after this one sells, he will put the others up for auction one at a time. Also, he has both L and XL. If you end up winning, just say what size you want and he will send that size accordingly.
