I thought Morey had his staff locked down to long term contracts for several years. Now this guy might know some of Morey's secrets.

Never heard of him either. I'll just pretend he was the one that was responsible for recruiting studs such as David Andersen, Dorsey, Cook, Loren Woods etc.

Scouts are so underrated its not even funny. Landry? That was lindsay before he left and recommended landry. Gm have final say, but if the scouts are giving the gm bad options, then the gm will probably make a poor choice. Ask jerry west from the 02 draft.

Still, this guy must've been part of the team that got Budinger, Landry and Brooks.

Shortly after Dennis Lindsay went to the Spurs, the Rockets got Scola from them.

Now that Madkins goes over to the Hornet, it can only be a harbinger for another trade.

I am sure Morey has explained to Madkins in detail all of the advanced analysis, statistical or otherwise, that shows why guys like Budinger are incredibly valuable and why the Knicks end up on lottery so that Madkins can educate the Hornets from office when they consider possible Chris Paul deals.

I think the last time one of our team staff members (Dennis Lindsey) left us for another team (Spurs), we ended up getting Luis Scola from that team. So if history holds up, CP3 will be in a Rockets uniform by training camp.
