What is he doing right now? Has he started working out with Falsone? If not, when? Is he playing basketball and working on his game? Or is he still chillin? The news on his conditioning has been pretty sparse since he went to China.
I believe there is a thread on this somewhere, i think he is in China right now doing the basekball w/o borders deal. Something like that.
I know about that. What about his physical conditioning? Didn't someone post a few weeks ago that Falsone was leaving for China last month? If so, just curious if he was hitting the weights yet, at least for his upper body.
He's still in China right now. I spoke to someone who sees Yao on a regular basis in Beijing - they told me that Anthony Falsone and David Macha (Yao's personal trainer and the Rockets rehab coordinator) were on their way over to China this week. He didn't say how Yao was - but I don't think he's been doing much basketball work. He didn't do much moving around during Basketball without Borders and that was only a week or two ago.
Does anyone know if Yao will be representing China in the 4 nations tour in Australia later this month. he has been advertised yet nothing further has been mentioned on this. I need to see Yao live
I heard a recent report saying that Yao is still rehabing from his ankle surgery and he's even doubtful for the Asian Championship in September. I am pretty certain that he's not going to make the trip to Australia with the Chinese national team.
Maybe he's buying tickets to his movie by the thousands so it won't be such a flop. OK, a little harsh, but i actually want to see it. It just wasn't the brightest marketing move or timing by Team Yao.
