I've been thinking that we could get discounted seats if we get enough people to join in. Also, I'm thinkin' that the Dallas game at home on April 4 would be a good possibility for that as well in case the last game is close to selling out - last Hakeem game and all. Anybody want in? There are no such thing as discounted tickets. I bought 10 tickets for the Barkley/Vancouver cc.net outing last year, and asked for 20. They told me face value only in any amount. Maybe a cc.net admin can pull it off, but no other group can that I'm aware of. If we buy now, we can get 20 tix for $200. Hell, I'll buy them tomorrow if you want. No use even bothering to negotiate a "discount". This organization gives no discounts.

now as I recall, I wasn't able to get $10 tix. The group sales person told me only the $12s were available, or was it the $22s. I don't really remember. One thing is for sure, discounts weren't in the picture, and the best way to do it is one person buys them all up front before real commitments come in. I recommend keeping it simple. Just like any other group, buy now and figure everything out later. Getting rid of the tickets is surprisingly hard enough. Taking pre-orders will not make it simpler. I've been thinking about this game, too.
