Spartacus/Game of Thrones draft -- which team wins?

I voted for the underdogs.

 

Team badass vs Team romance novel.

I lol'd at team B.

 

I just think it's funny that you had this draft with your woman. lol. Awesome.

So if Rob gets Grey Wind does that mean -

 

I don't watch Spartacus but based off the GOT characters these are how I would rank them as far as individual fighting capabilities:

1. Khal Drogo, the guy has never lost a fight and killed people who had weapons without using any weapons...
2. Jamie Lannister
3. Gregor Clegane
4. Sandor Clegane
5. Bronn
6. Robb Stark

 

So far in the show, has Robb demonstrated any individual fighting capability, or is this based on what you know from the books?

 

I'm basing this on everyone calling him green as grass and just being a boy and being inexperienced. I just saw the addition of the direwolf but even then any man can take that wolf down quickly with a slash.

Let me just say... no. It's not a book spoiler to say that the wolves tear some shiz up in battle.

 

team B, they have a friggin wolf on their side and they have gannicus who defeated another gladiator while blindfolded

 

So supposedly they are the size of a pony. But in the end its still an animal that uses its mouth primarily to attack and charge towards someone. A simple side step and sword stab should do the trick, or get on a knee with sword extended and have the beast drive itself into it. As the wolf would lead the charge since its faster than Robb, you stand back up and beat the silly boy with your experienced swordsmanship. My theory.

 

Your assumption is that all the wolf does is leap at people and thus have no control while in the air. And then all you do is either sidestep or just stick out your sword and let it kill itself. I would say that the animals quickness at feinting left and right and letting you swing your heavy sword before it pounced in for the kill. And unless you got it a solid swing, it could probably take a cut, shrug it off in the midst of battle and rip your throat out.

2) Jaime
3) Barristan
4) Gregor Clegane
5) Jorah Mormont
6) Robert Baratheon

 

As someone who absolutely loves both of these shows I gotta say that any team with more Gladiators is easily going to win.

They are simply more quicker and don't really give a damn if they live or die.

Gannicus, Crixus and Doctore on one team is not even fair.

Ganni and Sparty are the two best warriors out of those entire groups. Crixus and Doctore are both better then anyone on Team A not named Spartacus.

Maybe if the GOT characters were able to take of their bulky armor it would give them a little more quickness?

We are talking Spartacus, here

Oh, and btw: Daenyrus can kick Team A and Team B all by herself and you can even throw in Spider Man and Batman as ringers for either team. (And she only need one of her Dracarys). She is one with her Dracarys.

Are you guys even following this show. How could you not know that!

 

Gannicus is my boy from Spartacus. And any team with a dire wolf wins.

 

Versus a Dracarys. You must be joking. Even kids who play Magic know the Dracarys is the most powerful card in the Version 1 deck.

 

Team B is stacked with Spartacus guys, but I don't watch game of Thrones

Gannicus is Spartacus' equal on the battlefield and Crixius is just a notch below them. Oenamaus is quite the bad ass too, but I don't think we ever saw him fight fully healthy so he is 4th.

 

Are you including their primes? Obviously the fat robert, and old barristan are not that great now. And I was just ranking the ones he picked. I dont think Jorah is that good honestly, one of those blood riders almost killed him and he wasn't even one of the better blood riders.
