Actually, take notes on this one:

    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qQpXw2dg3ts"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qQpXw2dg3ts" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

This is what happens when opposing teams enter the parking lot. Wait till the Mavericks or spurs come to town.

This is also the reason why the lit flares/hurled projectiles crowd style will probably not catch on in the NBA.......

So someone was wielding a fireball in that first clip ? Is that allowed at the Toyota Center? That would be kind of cool.

I don't think flares are allowed in any American sports stadiums, at least they sure as hell shouldn't be after 9/11.

Singing the fight song in unison was pretty cool, though in the States you only see that with College athletics.

    WOW!
You will NEVER see anything like that at Toyota Center. That's by far the most fanatical basketball crowd I have ever seen.

From what I remember this summer, about 2-3 players from Olympiakos (red team) got injured during this game when someone started shooting a bb gun (i think) on their bench. They rushed all the players out after the scene, and while the players where trying to get out, you could see a lot of stuff being thrown on them.

These fans are real fanatics. This is also the reason Old School Metal bands tour Europe over the US. They really get into it over there. I was hoping that Iron Maiden would make a stop at the TC but no Texas date on the tour. Maybe next year.

I wouldn't mind some Euro hooligans hit up an arena like it was Detroit all over again. It might make those stiff rich snobs sitting in front row too scared to buy any tickets....

I know some guys who are part of a rather fanatical fan group for German soccer team Eintracht Frankfurt (called "Adlerfront"). While one would expect most hooligans to be guys with low education and low income, these guys don't fit the profile. During the work week, they are highly paid lawyers and investment bankers, and during the weekend, they become hooligans...

I didn't see one single woman or child at that game. Is that normal at European sporting events?

It also looks like every single person in that crowd is wasted.
