Is it just me or is hairiness the main factor in determing how well national teams perform in FIBA Worlds?

Spain and Greece = lots of hairy guys = gold and silver medal.

USA= not enough hairy guys = disappointing finish.

    Thanks.

I downloaded the whole game but really all I wanted to see was Spanoulis' highlights. This makes it much easier.

Nice editing job. Good to see KlllBill's highlights in one easy to watch video cut.

Man, Fraschilla was REALLY trying to convince everyone that Spanoulis isn't a shooter. And he might not be for all I know, but it was funny watching VSpan nailing a 3 right after Fran spends 30 seconds talking about how he can't hit the deep ball.

That is the most sensible thing I've read about the WC's yet.

LOL!!! I caught that too. Too funny.

    Thanks for the highlights!

Everyone on these boards can talk and argue about his skill set (speed, shooting, etc.) but you can't take away his bulldog mentality, determination and desire to win. He will clearly be a good addition to the Rockets.

Great video, thanks for posting that Raid. Spanoulis looks really good, gotta love his toughness. Seems like he could be our Sura/Elie type player.

Nice job...great video. Span looks good there, he was giving problems on defense for the USA team. I love it how he takes it to the hole. The only problem it seems is that he dribbles way too much.

Let's not get over hyped over just one game. Sure it was against Team USA, but Carlos Arroy has been looking like a superstar in International Ball but amounts to almost nothing in the NBA. I do think V-Span will take over the PG spot towards the middle of the season but let's not get too excited about him being ready because it's going to make it very disappointing is he doesn't live up to your expectations. Keep the expectations low and we'll be happy with however he can help.

True, but Carlos Arroyo is still better than any of the guards that we had last year. If V-Span is only as good as Carlos Arroyo, he'll already be more than earning his contract. But I think V-Span will do better than Arroyo in the NBA. Arroyo is the undisputed star of the Puerto Rico team, everything revolves around him on that team. But the Greek team is different, besides V-Span, they have several other top Euroleague stars and play a very balanced game.

I'm just glad we signed him BEFORE the USA game.

damn, that was hard to watch as a United Statesian.

This is my actual first time paying attention to a highlight clip like this. Nice job of piecing the video together. Thanks.

But man, I have a feeling that VSpan is going to get punched in the face by somebody during the season. Which is good. He has toughness in him. I like that.

It's so nice to see an aggressive offensive player. He'll draw fouls in the NBA as well.

This is my first time watching V Span in highlights. I get an impression from the highlights and listening to the commentary on the game that V Span is going to foul out of a lot of games with his aggressiveness and rookie status. However, with his dribble penetration and height I can very much see him and perhaps a smaller guard like alston or head playing in the back court together with him guarding the larger guards and alston or head guarding the smaller quicker guards like AI or Marbury a la a Sura Wesley backcourt. In any case, Training camp is going to be a fun thing to watch this season.
