I rarely get XXX one's anyway. At least they would be interesting. The majority of mine are "Get Rich Today!" or "Are You Fat?" or "Get a Second Mortgage!" As for penis enlargement....well, that was just once and they SWORE it was safe AND effective. ------------------ The internet is about the free exchange and sale of other people's ideas. - Futurama
You mean I'm not the only one that gets emails from chicks that just turned 18 wanting me to visit their personal website? I thought they really wanted me. ------------------ Sell crazy someplace else. We're all stocked up here...
I love junk email and spam!! And those spam lists ... wonderful to sign your not-so-friendly buddy up to. Or maybe even your ex-boss. If its a legit site, just send it back to them ... except mass mail it back to them. Just about every email program has some kind of block to prevent them from coming to you. ------------------ If Bill Gates had a dime for every time Windows crashed... Oh, Wait!! He Does!
I get 100 emails a day at moestavern19@hotmail.com , my inbox protector takes the ones that are important and the junk goes into the inbox . Luckily I never give out my personal email address ------------------ if Bill Gates had a dime for every time Windows has crashed ... oh wait he does . I hate the mail that seems to link to a site and then you cannot close the d*mn site without another one jumping open . . . .sheesh Rocket River ------------------
This is exactly what happened to me. I used to get 2 or 3 junk mail a day. Then after I replied to get "remove", I get 10 a day! What really piss me off is that I started receiving spam after I signed up for a quote at www.lendingtree.com. I am quite sure they are the bastards that sold my address, because at the time, I had not given out my address to any other site or institution. So, my warning is that beware of the "big" name companies too. Rocket River, you will never beat them (popup windows) with your mouse click (in closing the window), try using the Ctrl+W, it's much faster. ------------------ Congratulations Bill!!!! My inbox is flooded by: buy.com ecampus.com barnesandnoble.com oshmans.com textbooks.com etc... I've shopped at all of those stores online. I even check on no more future mailings but I keep getting them. ------------------
I get MyPoints.com, and I have tried block sender, inbox filters and removal requests, it just keeps coming. I don't want your damn points, and I will never buy any product that you advertise. Please go away and don't ever come back. ------------------ Liberals favor using artificial means to alter the normal to a state which facilitates and justifies how irresponsible they want to be
LOL . I get them too man. I get alot from some chick named Amber. Before I opened it I thought it was real. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
You've got spam, d_ckhead! Loved that parody... ------------------ A few years back on the Senate floor... Phil Gramm: "If Democrats could, they'd tax the air we breathe." Ted Kennedy (jumping up): "By God, why didn't I think of that sooner!" Boston College - NCAA Hockey National Champions 2001
Like junk mail, spam emails are a nuissance, but not really a big deal. Just delete them and move on. However, in an attempt to at least slow the ever-growing tide of junk emails, I've recently been removing myself from mailing lists. The legitimate mailers who give you a web link for removal are fine. Here are the two things that are getting on my last nerve, however: 1. Not putting the email where it was sent in the return address box. This bugs me because I have about 10 email aliases personally and my wife has a couple as well. Plus, I check maybe 3 boxes at a time, so I'm never sure where they came from. Usually, I just send it with all the possibilities in the FROM box, but that's a pain. 2. Bounced emails. This REALLY pisses me off. They have a remove email but it doesn't work, has been closed or is full. GRRRRRRRRR. I don't want to click their link and go to the site to get a legit email. That takes too much time and then I'm in cookie land or pop-up window hell. Any suggestions from anyone else on how to disengage myself from the spam carousel!? ------------------ The internet is about the free exchange and sale of other people's ideas. - Futurama
1) Don't use your real address in those p*rn age-id things that you visit, Jeff. 2) go to heyp's friend's site: spamgourmet.com ------------------ You're a fine woman, why don't you mock that draft up
Oh, come on. How else are you going to learn about "PENIS ENLARGEMENT SPECIALS", without spam? I would just like to know what it is these people found out about me that leads them to believe I would like or need such a service.
my fear is that if I reply to a remove email, it will verify my email address thus, sending me MORE junk email!! I just delete it and move on. I have one email account that gets NO real email, just junk! and it's an account that I like alot! houstonrocketsfan@**name deleted**.com i have one email account preferred_user@**name deleted**.com that you would think would get TONS of junk email, but I rarely get spam in that box! rH ------------------ visit: The Psychedelic Groove House of Rockets Basketball Love!
