That would make my flight... so long as we took and landed as smoothly. <object width="500" height="405"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ivjybzdXVmI&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ivjybzdXVmI&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="500" height="405"></embed></object>
APPROVED. I liked it. It makes listening to the instructions FUN. Off-Topic: I don't fly as much as some of you peeps, but... I was wondering... why don't you all pay attention to the attendants ? Why are most of you frequent-fliers so rude as to continue to read your SkyMall and your Wall Street Journals and emails printed out? Would it kill you to listen for a couple of minutes? I'm just wondering WHY, is all. The people on the video above were courteous and polite, and I know it isn't always fun, but... please pay attention.
^^^^ It's the same stuff flight after flight. I don't think it's rude to be reading or ignoring the flight attendants while they give the spiel. I know how to use the oxygen mask. I know where the nearest exits are. I know to keep my seat belt fastened even though the seat belt light is off. I know that there are lights that will illuminate the aisleway towards the exits. I know there is a flotation device under my seat. I know not to congregate by the restrooms and that the restrooms in first class are for their use. I know there will be a cart service with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and that snacks will be available for purchase. I know alcoholic drinks are $5.00 and that correct change is appreciated. I know to look in the magazine to see what boxed snacks are available and the cost. I know not to use my portable electronic device until we reach a certain altitude and that an announcement will be made when it is O.K. to do so.
Exactly. If you fly enough you learn to memorize the spiel yourself. Cool video. That's what I like about Southwest. They have more personality than the other airlines.
I've heard this one a few times, but I always thought it was funny: (sung to the tune of the Barney song) We love you! You love us! We're much faster than a bus, We hope you enjoyed our hospitality, Marry one of us and fly for free!
That was a good freestyle bobrek. Without your youtube, though, we can't judge the cadence to know how it compares the posted vid.
That was cool..... I like it when you have a rough landing and they say. "It is not the pilot's fault, it is not the attendent's fault, it is the asphalt" DD
Ah, okay, those sound like palpable and sane reasons. So... what about if the rules or equipment change? When will you actually listen to the instructions again?

Me too. But I understand why it appeals to others; and they still seem to be the best run airline in history, apparently.
