Local Houston rapper charged with sexual assault of a child... -- Sexual assault indictments charge rapper By CAROL CHRISTIAN Copyright 2001 Houston Chronicle Carlos Coy, a Houston rapper known nationally as South Park Mexican, has been indicted by a Harris County grand jury on two charges of sexual assault of a child. One charge involved a 9-year-old girl whom the 31-year-old rapper is accused of assaulting in September 2000. Coy was arrested Sept. 25 in connection with that incident and was released from jail the next day after posting $30,000 bail. The girl was not a family member, Houston police said at the time. The other charge stemmed from 1993, when Coy allegedly had sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl, who gave birth as a result. Now an adult, the mother has pursued child support payments from Coy, Harris County Assistant District Attorney Denise Oncken said. Prosecutors learned about the 1993 incident when investigating the recent allegation, Oncken said. Grand jurors indicted Coy on both charges Monday. Coy is a co-founder of Houston-based Dope House Records, a family-run subsidiary of Coy Entertainment that last week released its latest album, Never Change. As with many rappers, Coy's compact discs usually carry parental advisories warning of explicit content. -- they should charge him with animal abuse too... --

I've never heard of this rapper but I must say what happened to innocent until provwen guilty. He has only been charged with these crimes so we you can't really judge him yet.
Maybe we can't or shouldn't judge him on this yet but I can judge his character based on the lyrics in his songs. He glorifies drug dealing and gangbanging in almost every song I've heard. Well.....hate is such a strong word I'm not the biggest rap fan in the world. However, there is some that I tolerate (my wife loves it, so I have to). Most of the rap that I've listened to is usually more mainstream and the references to drug dealing is usually something like how they used to deal before they made it big, etc, etc. This guy raps as if he still deals. I've only heard maybe 5 songs but all of them are the same. This guy offers me absolutely nothing. He's a loser, screw him. I'm not trying to attack rap in general just this idiot. Rap star arrested on more sexual abuse charges By DALE LEZON Copyright 2002 Houston Chronicle Rap star Carlos Coy, known professionally as South Park Mexican, free on bond on two charges of sexually abusing young girls, has been arrested on three counts of sexual assault of two 14-year-old girls. Two of the latest counts involve alleged assaults almost a decade ago. The third involves an alleged assault last month -- while Coy was on bond on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child. The earlier charges involve two children, ages 9 and 13 at the time of the alleged assaults. Coy, 31 and co-founder of Houston-based Dope House Records, is in Harris County Jail awaiting a March 25 bond hearing. His attorney, Chip Lewis, said Coy denies all the allegations. "All of these, we will prove they are untrue," Lewis said. Coy has never met or seen the girl who accused him of assaulting her last month, Lewis said. He said his office was informed March 6 that the Harris County District Attorney's Office would file the latest charges late that day, and Coy turned himself in Thursday. "The girls were sexually assaulted by him," said Denise Oncken, chief of the district attorney's Child Abuse Division. "In 1994, he assaulted one girl multiple times. In February, to another girl, it happened once." Coy has admitted to the Chronicle he had relations with a 13-year old in 1993 and fathered her son. "The case with the 9-year-old (which allegedly occurred in September 2000) is something I know I can get past and win," he said. "The case of (the) 13-year-old is not winnable because he's definitely my son." Now an adult, the mother has pursued child support payments from Coy, Oncken said.
