Seriously.... hasn't the world gone down compared to the good ol' days of cartoons like ANIMANIACS and TINY TOONS for young teens to watch without the cussing and adult issues brought up on tv today? Why hasn't the world recieved the WAKE UP call and stop being so $ hungry.

I have not heard of this show before, but money hungry? For one, duh, of course people who make tv shows want money like everybody in the world wants to make money. But a show aimed at teenagers with gay main characters is pretty risky and quite the opposite of money hungry. I guess this show isn't on a major network otherwise there would have been more homophobes complaining about it.

BTW, those cartoons weren't made for "young teens," they were made for kids but appealed to adults because the adults making the shows used tons of pop culture references and parodies.

I mean seriously, how many young teens in the '90s would have been able to get that one episode where the Warner Brothers and their sister Dot have to stop Jerry Lewis from making that movie The Wretched Clown because it's gone over budget? How many kids new about Jerry Lewis at that time? How many of them had read Heart of Darkness or seen Apocalypse Now? How many kids at that time new the stories about how long it took to make Apocalypse Now or Lewis's unreleased film "The Day the Clown Cried and how they went overbudget?"

    Geez, what's your problem?

I've listed this show several times before in other threads. It's one of those guilty pleasure type of shows. :D

Your right. Back in the day cartoons never involved risque gender issues:

I'm still wondering why the comparison to cartoons was brought up in the first place when this is a live action tv show.
