I must agree. I love TLC and all the archaeology shows on Discovery. Too bad they have to glamorize and make archaeology out to be like Indiana Jones. Otherwise, very very cool.

ROX, did you just finish watching the Show on William Wallace on history?

All of those networks are the best reason to own a TV.

side note: the guy that owns discovery, TLC, animal planet, also ownes 2 of the teams in the emerging womens professional soccer league due to start this summer

The Discovery Channel, TLC, Discovery Science, etc. Anything with interesting things about archaeology, space, the wild, etc. I LOVE THOSE CHANNELS! Most of my tv watching revolves around those statiions.

Oh, and Nick at Night rocks, too. [IMG]

That William Wallace show was pretty good. It covered a lot of things "Braveheart" didn't even come close to.

The Biography last night was Cadbury - the chocolate company. Fascinating.

You can add A&E to the Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel and the History Channel for me.

    Basically, if I got:

    HGTV
    PBS
    A&E
    Discovery Channel
    TLC
    The History Channel
    Comedy Central
    ESPN
Fox Sports & UPN (for Rockets games)

    and

    Fox (for the Simpsons)

I'd be in great shape! [IMG]

Animal Planet and Discovery have been on a roll of late. Those shows on the Amazon last week had me glued to the set.

Now, if only that dork Manny would get eaten by a shark, all would be well.

Discovery Science?!?! Wow, what's the difference between that and the Discovery Channel? (I just have basic cable, so forgive me) [IMG]

But yeah, the programs those networks show are just hypnotic. In fact, I sat glued to A&E the other night watching "The Hugh Hefner story" (and not for the reasons everyone thinks) [IMG].

    GREAT STUFF!!
