Yeah, boo the players. They deserve it for not breaking their contracts and refusing to travel to OKC!

(Why are they planning on booing Portland?)

They were probably rivals due to geographic proximity. Same reason we're predisposed to hate San Antonio and Dallas more than Sacramento and Golden State.

The fact that Seattle no longer has a team is one of the more underrated headlines of this NBA season. Such a tragedy for that city.

Seattle fans are reaching Utah Jazz level slowly. They don't deserve another team.

    Who to the what now?

I have nothing but admiration for them for caring so much.

The Sonics getting moved is an NBA tragedy.

I have empathy for the sonics fans, what happened to them almost happened to us.

Gotta feel bad for Seattle. From Dennis Johnson, to Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp, to Ray Allen that team has some good years and a good history in that city.

Let those fans boo all they want. Moving that team was uncalled for.

Poor Sonics, they were once the NBA Champions. Shouldn't have moved to OKC.

hey let some guy in seattle come up with a few hundred million dollars and bring a team back, otherwise clay bennett can do whatever he wants with his own money and if that means bringing a team to OKC so be it. Im from las vegas and would try to bring a team home if I had a few hundred mill burning a hole in my pocket.

The fact that Seattle no longer has a team is yet ANOTHER reason why David Stern is the devil reincarnated. The Sonics were one of the original teams in professional basketball, but Clay Bennett is his friend, so he approved a re-location despite being adamant about not change the NBA landscape for a long time. It's dispicable, and David Stern needs to upheaved. I hate him almost as much as I hate Bud Selig....in fact, some days it's even worse.

The referee situation alone is enough for me to say it's time for Stern to go. He is on such a high horse, because of the international expansion of basketball that he can not admit to rampant officiating problems throughout the league.

  Losers. If the Rockets moved to Louisville or Boise or whereever, I'm not spending money, time and effort to boo them.

    Oh

I'm sure the players. who had absolutely nothing to do with the move, really appreciated that.

    I don't understand.

They've paid a lot of money to buy the tickets, will travel to the game, and will boo both teams that they're watching ...

    ... to accomplish.... what?

Do they really think they're going to get their team back?
Are they just trying to make themselves feel better?
How are they going to feel better by spending money, time and effort to boo two teams?

    What's the motivation here?

They're not booing the players as much as they are booing the league. Players bothered by fans of other teams booing them aren't worth their paychecks anyway.
