So I'm going on a pretty long road trip next week and I want to make a few CD's that'll last me my whole trip. Basically I'll be traveling for 3 to 12+ hours at a time. The car only has a CD player, no usb thingy, and I don't have an ipod. Any ideas? I'm thinking upbeat stuff that'll keep me awake. Or any albums anyone can suggest? I've been pretty out of touch with current songs and artists. I'm open to most genres, with the exception of those ****ty pop beiber stuff or whatever kids listen to nowadays. Gracias en el avance! (did I say that correctly?)
Here are some random music albums I listen to while driving on long trips (note: some are soothing music): The Roots, Girl Talk, Brian Eno, New Order, and Nujabes
Thanks guys! I haven't heard of most of these groups, save for Barry Manilow (not sure if serious) I'm gonna look em all up. Do keep em coming if there are any more. 12 hours is a looong drive.
Mix them up dude. One of my faves: <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/lDkmQpv_11s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I generally don't like country music. but Johnny Cash is great for a long otherwise dull drive. Bob Marley's Legend is another you could just leave on repeat.
