I used to think our losses are just because the players are still in the process to be familiar to each other and to the new system. But according to the Yao, TMac interview in chron, obviously something goes wrong in the locker room. It's pretty sad that this team falls apart so quickly. Coach A is known as player's coach, which obviously doesn't work here in Houston. He should become a dictator right now and enforce some discipline in this team.
Well, from my point of view as a fan, Tmac and Yao both show signs of defeat when things go wrong. I think that sets the tone for the other players who look to those two for leadership. Couple that with a loss, and you've got a recipe for a down locker room that will eventually divide with all those huge egos (bonzi, james, rafer, etc.)
Tmac doesn't trust James and Francis to handle the ball. When Rafer is not playing, Tmac has the ball 80% of the time. Of course teammates are not going to be involved.
And that isn't going to work T-Mac should be off ball. James and Francis have both been NBA starters. Let them play. If they fall down so be it. Can't coddle them forever. On the job training!
something is wrong with the chemistry really, i mean did anyone see battier and james yelling at eachother after AI ripped james for the highlight dunk. In all fareness though I'm waiting to see how the team responds after the all star break because according to shane, the team should be comfortable with the offense and th chemistry should all be there.
I think the locker room issue may exist a lot of time ago but Gundy absorved it succesfully, Adelman seems not able to do so.
