Something JCG said during the game?

Guys, I am very sorry about starting this useless thread, but I just had a question to ask about something that was said/might have been said about JVG's comments about a player or something (whom was it)?

I went to watch the game at TC tonight, so I did not see the game on TV, but I was told that Worell commented about something JVG said that resembled "he will never play for the Rockets again"(???) and then Worrell said "He shouldn't have said that" or something similar to it?

Please, if you know what I am talking about, elaborate on this and tell me what was said/what happened.

    The curiousity is killing me!;)

Well if it was Yao I would think there would already be a few hundred threads talking about Yao hating it here. If it was Tracy there would be a few hundred threads talking about how he hates it here. If it was anyone else, I could care less

No board, just a close acquaintance, and if he is playing games with me (i.e. playing a prank on me), I will kick his ass:mad:

Jeff Hagedorn was giving a sideline report about the PF postion. Karl Malone was brought up. But then he metioned that Chancellor said that "The Mailman ain't never going to play here, in the bayou city."

Bill Worrell followed up with, "I think that he's right (Chancellor). But I probably wouldn't have put it that way."

They then talked about possibly picking up another power forward; NBLD or overseas. James Thomas from University of Texas (good rebounder) was mentioned by Bill.

My admiration for Van Chancellor just tripled. That's awesome. There should be a sticky thread at the top of this forum whose sole purpose is to pre-empt the monthly "What about getting Malone" threads and Van's quote should be in that sticky. The sticky should also include a warning that anyone starting a thread suggesting the Rockets acquire Malone will be automatically banned for a week and anyone that posts saying 'I'm a true Rockets fan, but Malone's the best PF ever and we should pick him up' will be banned for a year. When the year's up, the reinstated poster should receive a lifelong user designation of "Cheater Lover" under his or her user name. And then we should kill that poster.

Oooooh! OK! Now I understand what happened, the curiousity is gone, thanks to DavidS for the recap of this part of the conversation.:)

I guess the only complaint I have about going to the actual game at the TC tonight was that I kinda missed the commentary by BW and VC. I am watching the game now though on FSN (the repeat), so I can fulfill this void I have:p

Copy this and post in the feedback section right away. In any thread on any of the various clutch boards have wiser words ever been spoken than these right here. I'm sure the Rockets just raised their game another notch by having fans who come up with ideas like this.

    Thankyou, Batman!

SO can we send Yao to tree cutting and hauling camp with karl this summer, or are we afraid karl will drop a tree on Yao?

Boki lives in Louisiana now, I wonder how long before karl has the state police pull Boki over every other day?

So it was Van Chancellor not Van Gundy that said it. Good stuff, and I agree that anyone who supports that dirty flopper Malone should be banned.

I don't know. Malone is better than Weatherspoon.

I'm more of a Stockton hater (mainly because he played well against us) than a Malone hater. Perhaps he did something to affect Rockets fans the wrong way (flopping???).

As long as he didn't come in hear and screw up our karma, I might be ok with it.

Can you sense the hesitation in what I'm saying?

    Let the slamming begin.
