...would be for James Rodney Richard to throw out the first pitch at a World Series game at Minute Maid Park. I think I would cry like a baby if I saw that.
I have a feelign that it's going to be Nolan Ryan or the President for Game 3 first pitch. I hope it's the Ryan Express.
Marvin Zindler should definitely throw out one first pitch. Maybe he can take Tom DeLay's spot, which is probably open right now.
How about Ken Lay, Jeff Skilling and Andy Fastow each throwing out a first pitch? How about me throwing up all over my sofa watching something like that!
Berkman doing his Elvis impression in the Dugout and it being broadcast nationwide! That would be too funny!
My vote for throwing out first pitches would be J.R. Richards, Mike Scott and Larry Dierker. Nolan Ryan did at least play in the World Series even if he was a young kid with the Mets. Craig Reynolds wouldn't be a bad idea either since he went to Reagan High School in Houston. Maybe some cross sports karma by having Hakeem throw out the first pitch. Talking about first pitches in World Series games in Houston, unreal.
Ouch . . . Most of the names suggested have merit, can't really argue against them, however, and this is just my opinion -- only one person should throw out the 1st pitch. Can't dilute the ceremony woth multiple 1st pitches. I mean come on, the phrase "multiple 1st pitches" dpesn't make sense. Unless they got ZZtop or the Geto Boys (formerly known as the Ghetto Boys). How about either Hakeem, Barbara Bush, or Lance Armstrong, unless he's a Ranger fan.
I want to see Who is Mike Jones throw out the first pitch, followed by Paul Wall. Soon afterwards both of them will fall down into a catatonic state after sipping too much Minute Maid syrup.
