Either Tracy and Yao or Rick Adelman need to go, really. I tought his system would work here, but no. Rick, this isn't Sacramento. Yao isn't Divac. Tracy isn't Steve Nash. rafer isn't Mike Bibby. We have two options. Fire Rick or trade Yao for Miller and Bobby and than trade Tracy for Turkoglu. Or something like that. Or of course fire Adelman. His offense hasn't been working. We can't score enough and our defense is completly gone. Under JVG we couldn't score at all but at least our defense was better than SOLID. Rick doesn't know how to use Yao, and his offense has taken T-Mac's offensive game away. T-Mac is not NASH. He can pass but he is supposed to be your 1st or 2nd scoring option. And I am not even sure if Tracy and Yao want to play for Adelman. One thing, I am pretty sure right now that under this coach WE ARE NOT GONNA WIN. And right now I don't even see us entering the playoffs but if we do, we won't pass the 1st round. What do you think?
Well i'll give you this. McGrady and Yao are both averaging 12 shots a game. Those are our superstars, NICE!
I was saying early that coach wasn't the problem. But right now, after the Philadelphia game I am pretty sure it should be on him. We count on T-Mac. He can't score but if he doesn't make the right pass, than we don't get easy shots. It is pretty frustrating. I don't know maybe I am wrong, but right now the future is not bright for us, not at all.
I'm not saying Rick should go but you never hear the players talk positively about him like they did JVG. I think we are looking at a team where the only thing the players agree on is that they don't like this coach.
Much like Les, I'd like to see the entire Rockets' rotation play together for about 10 games or so before making any major moves. If Shane Battier plays in tonight's game, the Rockets win. Many of the layups that the team gave up would not have happened if Battier was playing his usual heady help defense. By no means am I saying that everything is fine (it's clearly not), but don't go off the deep end when the team is losing games without 2 of its top 5 players.
I want Rafer shipped the **** out of town! I'm not joking. I'm so fed up with it. The guy gets one hustle steal or makes one out of nine teardrops and we jump out of our seats. THis is not due to it being a great play, although it could be at the time, but because it is such a rarity. We need a sound NBA PG and if Marbury is bought out we have to sign him. I have no problem with putting all our eggs in one basket especially if that basket wins!
