Sad news indeed. Never particularly noticed his posts, but it hurts to see such a young man, with such young kids, go down. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mnKUUBKLygE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> RIP Landlord Landry
Wow. Terrible. I had seen the breakup thread but missed the back story with turning agnostic and the like. Regardless of what happened it is really tragic that all of that happened this year.
RIP... wish he would have taken his own advice in one of his last posts (in Manny's break-up thread)... it's about the kids, it's about the kids...
Though this may be sad for some, this was LL's last post on facebook. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/EOL1291ryKM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Oh man, this saddens me a great deal. I never met LL but felt like I knew him through his posting. This truly feels like I lost a family member, it's how I hold so many of you here on the board. Best wishes to his family, my heart goes out to them. RIP LL.
Wow. Super lurker here but this is almost surreal. I don't think I've ever said a word to him but he was definitely one of the people who has stood out to me throughout my years on the BBS. He definitely seemed like a great guy and I feel terrible about what he was going through in these past few months. RIP LL.
RIP damn this puts everything into perspective- life is way too short got to enjoy every day like its your last
Rest in peace, LL. You got many a laugh, not least of all from me. Most days you're skimming the BBS, something makes you laugh, you check the username and whatdoyaknow, it was LL. He definitely won me over. I vaguely remember when he was still a rookie getting into it with him in the D&D about religion. I was probably drunk and at that time very enthusiastic. How strange it is to be reading all these threads I missed and seeing how he changed over time. Change is very difficult. If there is a positive to losing people, its the transformative place that only grief can get you to. I lost my 20 year old cousin a month ago. He had a rough time ever since his father died 6 years ago and I don't think ever got over it. I haven't been able to touch alcohol since he went. Life is just too short.
