Yeah, I admit our playing of late has been, to use a kind word, bad. But I think that it is completely irrational to call for Rudy's head, and to say that a bunch of our players terrible and should be dealt. We forget so quickly that this team, with most of its parts (not even having MoT), started off this season in a very promising fashion, having us all looking forward to booking our playoff tickets. Sometimes things happen that are just out of anyone's control (like most injuries), and we have to learn to roll with these. Yeah, a lot of players that we currently have right now aren't producing. But you have to understand that almost every guy we have right now (except for mobley) was meant to be a role player, fulfilling their task to help the team win. It becomes difficult for these guys who arent as talented as Steve or Mo to come in and carry the team. Some of them simply aren't talented enough to go against the league's best. So rather than question Rudy, the front office (yeah they have made some dumb moves), and want to clean house, keep in mind that with all our parts intact we looked like a tough team to face. I think we should be doing better than we are, but I think the critiscism is really unwarranted in a lot of situations given the circumstances. I am holding out faith that we can make a run when steve comes back, hopefully it won't be too late. I was hoping we could keep the ship afloat with out the captain here, but I think that unfortunaltely looks more unlikely with every game. Michael
I've already changed my mind on Rudy. He's doing the best he can with what he has to work with: an injury-battered team and a bunch of prideless backups. If the Rockets ever do put together a good group of players, who actually care abourt winning, then Rudy is the guy I want running the team.
