Some great ones. I was especially pleased with Party Weekend, My Name is Norman Bates, and I Want To Be A Lifeguard, even if it didn't hold as well as I would have thought. I have had the hardest time locating an original version of "Party Weekend" on CD or even a legal MP3.

MTV played all kinds of "promo" videos (as UK'ers liked to call them) from all around back then. Now they don't need to have varied music with regional MTVs like MTV Europe, Asia and similar, and stick with whats bankable in the US (not like they WERENT trying to bank back then but still...) Wait, what you learned something from this board, and actually APPLIED it into real life? This board is good but I didnt think it actually turned posters into better people
That is a great song. I had no idea they were ever on MTV. Their albums seem to be mostly out of print. That is just not right. If you happen to know of a way I could obtain this album, please let me know.
They're actually still around. When they played Fitzgerald's in 1983, my old R&B band opened for them, and those guys partied me up, down and sideways. I was a dead DWI in the drivers seat coming home that night...at 6AM.
I figured they might be still around. I have one of their later albums (Blazing Grace) but never liked it that much. I've been wanting the album w/"White Lies" on it for a while now though.
