i found them yesterday, i was like 11-12 at the time, saved a lot of the papers. I had too many of them though, had to throw out some from 96-99 that were just about regular season games....i just kept the really important ones
memories, memories... damn these papers look so old. i feel like i need some new ones to collect this summer.

One thing you can do is go down to the Chronicle downtown adn get them to print out the good version on white paper so it doesn't fade as fast and it's the best for framing and keeping for a long times since newspapers seem to yellow over time.
I have a lot of those old papers and I drew mustaches on some of them. Including a championship one where the photo on the front page was with all the players at the trophy ceremony. I was such an idiot.
