http://www.6park.com/enter5/messages/27052.html Above link is a message board thread with some fans talking about Yao. It has pics of the Asia Game tour also. I thought the Yao was working exclusively on his power game but the below thread says he has been working on his outside shot as well. Sorry but I couldn't paste the pics. Calinks: You guys see Yao laely? The man has blew the hell up! Look at his arms and legs! www.6park.com doveer: I think he needed more work in conditioning and agility than muscle. You rarely see him getting outmuscled in the paint last year because of his strong legs, the things that really killed him was the lack of conditioning and quicker players. www.6park.com 2sweetbadguy: Well he's gonna be a monster next season. www.6park.com MixStarter_01: yup Yao is really trying to Buff up... and so far from what i see from the other board that he really shaping up for this season,, and he just added some new moves they say he has develop a 3pt touch.. and a dependable perimeter game... www.6park.com olo!8: damn....... thats crazy.... d imch: Quote: Originally Posted by doveer I think he needed more work in conditioning and agility than muscle. Yeah I agree, being at his height, he really needs to develop agility, like the type Shaq had in his younger days. If he did that then he'd be D-O-M-I-N-A-N-T www.6park.com Stilo: Wow, this is great...we don't have to be afraid who's the next Shaq LOL His numbers will rise so much this season, I'm really glad to see Rockets aiming at title (I know it's too early to say but hey!), Yao knew that this is gonna be a hell of a team so he did his best to improve... I respect this guy a lot more now. www.6park.com Tikitaha: I think he should really spend more time doing those offseason toughing up in gym and training rather than going for those asian tournament if he can becoz it's really kinda of destroying his future in the NBA when he play balll ALL YEAR round w/o rest... www.6park.com Arlubas: Man he put on some major muscles. If he can match those muscles with an agressiveness on the court then look out! But what Tikitaha is saying is absolutely right. He should rest in the summers if he wants to be ready 100% for the NBA season. www.6park.com Hazim a.k.a thunder: Yeah man damn but still yeah he need to practice to move fast and btw wow look at the guy beside him is actually taller tahn Yao? www.6park.com Philp: He really needs to get faster...but i like the new Yao... www.6park.com Ghost: With his height, if only he can perfect his hook shot than we'd be having a chinese abdul kareem.. lol www.6park.com Calinks: Hey guys, after looking at the pic some more. I'm thinking it may be fake cause look as his other arm. Maybe it's just the angle but it looks way smaller. Also his head seems kind of small and Yao has a big head so that is a little strange. I hope it's real but I'm not sure anymore. www.6park.com And about him playing in the summer. It's not his choice. If his country wants him to play he has to play. I heard he wanted to relax this summer and play videogames but he couldn't cause China needed him. It sucks but that's life for Mr. Ming www.6park.com Nicolamayer: NExt year Yao will kick SHaq's ass www.6park.com NExt year Yao will kick SHaq's ass www.6park.com Bizzzardwolf: Here are some more pics: www.6park.com www.6park.com Thebballinlegend: he needs to improve on his speed.....if he runs up and down court quicly then he will be a deadly player www.6park.com Julio-r-:Quote: Originally Posted by TheBBallinLegend he needs to improve on his speed.....if he runs up and down court quicly then he will be a deadly player www.6park.com That's exactly what hes been doing. His trainer has him doing laps everyday. And the pic isnt fake. Its from a site in China that has postgame pictures. I doubt they would take the time to edit Yaos arms. www.6park.com Chronz: Bigger Stronger Yao whats his weight up to? We will definately see an improvement in his game www.6park.com Z916z: hope we see improvement in his game and i hope he gets faster and starts blocking people. If yao dose that you never know the rockets can maybe win a championship. www.6park.com Calinks: AWESOME it is real! Yao looks sick. www.6park.com Xvntf: damn...the guy is tall! what his shoes size? ...btw..anyone know what is Shaq's shoes size? www.6park.com Thebballinlegend: ^^their both above 20 i think.......but i am not sure.......but almost everybody in the NBA got like above 17 size shoe www.6park.com Turbo_Dahlay: don't you feel sorry for the little guy in blue? Maybe if he'd just box out a little harder... www.6park.com Vc_15: Wow.This guy really wants to be on the top next season and I say he deserves it putting maximum effort in training.he's also put some muscle . www.6park.com Mixmakers_messiah: for a 7'6, getting faster and more agile is not that easy. for his size, he is already faster than any other 7'3+ center that played in the NBA. his upper body needed the most improvement and he is doing that. now he needs to get his conditioning down and he will be scary. if yao can get 38-40mins a game (a long shot with fatigue factor and foul problems but its possible), i can see him putting up 25/12/3 easily. and that is damn near shaq numbers. www.6park.com Fantom: yao has size 17 and ALOT of players are under 17, only the 4 and 5s are over 17 and thats only a few too, duncan and garnett are under 17 but yao is looking way bigger www.6park.com Hoop_dreamz: damn.. and i thought yao was big Pongd: hes gonnabe so crazy...with his size now he can do the shaq drop step and just hook shot it. hes gonnabe unstoppable. im sure as hes gettin stronger hes getting faster. hes only to improve day by day and game by game..... www.6park.com
