I'm a little bit confused with the whole Tracy McGrady situation. Are we still able to trade him? When is the Trade Deadline? What is the latest info we've got about the whole situation right now? Sorry about making a new thread for that but I'm just confused with the whole situation, and I'd just like to ask for some explanation and information. Thanks for your help!

They may trade him today actually. It depends... T-Mac is going to crawl out of his hole for a ceremony later today. If he sees his shadow, he's in the Big Apple by this afternoon. If not, it's 6 more weeks of T-Mac.
We can trade him if we can find a good deal. Morey isn't going to make some stupid deal just to get him out of town if it doesn't help us. The trade deadline is February 18. The latest info is that Morey is actively trying to find McGrady a home, but there are no pending or concrete deals at this point. McGrady will be in Chicago working out.

If I end up waking up to the same song on the radio every day for a year or two, only to find McGrady is still on the Rockets, there's going to be hell to pay.
The Rockets are in no hurry to trade T-Mac away. I wouldn't know how he could be in any NBA team's long-term plans given the fact that he can't seem to play through a full 82-game schedule because of him getting injured too much.
