http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/6772535.html “Through all the stuff that we’ve been through, you haven’t heard it come out of my mouth that I want to leave,” McGrady said. “This is home for me. My wife and kids love it here; I love it here. This is where I live in the offseason. “I love everything about the organization — the owner, the fans and my teammates. This is it. I feel comfortable here. This is where I want to be.” i guess tmac has mastered the PR now. i have never seen him say so many positive things before
Its true though. He never once demanded a trade from what I can recall. Some even say he "blocked" a trade from happening last season. That's how much he loves Houston.
Famous last words. That just sends the signal that there are no quarrels going on with the higher-ups in the organization... that he's a good guy for a team to pick up. Smoke and mirrors. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/f_B23QGCEmA&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/f_B23QGCEmA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
His first game back after all the controversy you really expect him to say anything else? I thought all this stuff was bs. Especially when that first aldridge article came out about tmac's relationship with Yao. And all the drama this season? There is a lot going on behind the scenes you and I don't know about, but I can tell there are a lot of people on the team that don't want mcgrady here, and multiple sources have said he would be very happy with a trade...just like he came out on ESPN and said he wouldn't mind a trade to the pistons before the artest acquisition came along.
remember when he decided not to tell his team about his microfracture surgery, but instead tell steven a. smith? idk, but to me his actions speak louder than words. maybe he is kissing ass to get more playing time?
Stay T-Mac! Wait for Yao to get healthy, we will trade some pieces next year to bring in another big 3rd option!
tracy might have a problem with adelman or morey (hence he didn't say anything about the coaching or management). but several things are certain: he loves les (he has said that many times throughout his tenure here) and teammates (you can see the joy that his teammates showed when tracy first knew of his decision to play--check lowry's twitter).
He said this before as well. This is kinda why I dont really buy into the whole "contract year motivation", because I think he really wants to be here.
The only source that matters on this issue is mcgrady. If youre going by what ESPN says and what writers say, you're going to get whatever line gives them a hot story.
Yea I saw an interview Mac did where he said something like he isn't to fond of huge cities. To stressful or something. He probably likes the smaller feel of a place like Houston. But more than anything I think he likes the other guys on the roster. Or maybe, like some will say, he's just saying the right things because he's supposed to. Oh, and I say Houston isn't a huge city, but that is just my opinion. And to be fair to others I've never lived there.....so.
perhaps. I am nothing more than a mere speculator, a part of me wants to witness that 05' team again..even though we all know how it ended. But in the end there is a 2% chance mcgrady can be helpful. And the coach does, ultimately toss the dice over who plays.
Do the insiders on this forum believe this is BS or do the Rockets still want to get rid of him as quick as they can?
