Soldiers accidently raid family home The Australian Defence Force has admitted to mistakenly raiding a family home in central Queensland as part of a major evacuation exercise. Defence spokesman Captain Jason Logue has confirmed the incident happened last week. "During the early phase of Exercise Swift Eagle, we conducted an activity on Curtis Island," Captain Logue said. "We had a situation occur during that activity where a civilian family was mistakenly involved in that training activity. "As soon as we were made aware of it, which was almost instantly, we launched an immediate investigation into the incident and now that investigation is ongoing." Captain Logue will not comment on whether the family involved has signed a document preventing them from speaking to the media.
