    PREVIEW

Game is tomorrow @ 6:30 central on ESPN in Salt Lake City.

US should win fairly easily. A lot will depend on the health of Beasley and Eddie Johnson. They can win without them. However, it would be easier with them.

It will be difficult, not EASY. Costa Rica is coming off a rested squad from their league. Some play in other leagues that are not playing either. Reyna is still out for the EE.UU.

I want the U.S. to win, but I will call this one 3-2 Estados Unidos le gana a Costa Rica.

Reyna hasn't been a major part of this team since WC 2002. That is not a concern.

No chance in hell Costa Rica scores 2 goals no matter who is in the net for USA.

U.S. Should win this game especially since it is here in the states.

The 2002 World Cup was the first time I saw Reyna actually impact a game. Personally, I think he is the MOST overrated midfielder in the world. I have never seen him dominate/dictate and control the game like other midfielders. I know Zidane is a legend and hard to compare anyone to but that is how a midfielder is supposed to control a game.

I was kidding. Of course he was out. I was watching MEXICO vs. GUATEMALA, so I am catching the game on TELEMUNDO now. Nice football on the americanos. Playing much better. Dempsey should start! About time Donovan gets some support. See you again on Wednesday!

Beasley was getting abused. That was just wrong. Costa Ria plays dirty.

True. Some of the tackles on Beasley were hard to watch. There should have been more than 1 red card.

    Whatever

The Americans didn't do anything special yesterday. They are simply an entirely more talented, disciplined, and overall better team than Costa Rica. This is more of what the USMNT will do on a day in and day out basis. Last week against England, they were a little tentative in the first half and it cost them against a great team. In the 2nd half, they dominated and got a goal out of it. They should have had more. Yesterday, they played the way they are capable of and just kicked the sh*t out of CR.

The gap between the top 2 in this region and the rest of the field is getting bigger.
