Glad to see frequent futbol/soccer threads on here (being it is the best sport in the world!!!). Anyone here going to the Mexico v. Jamaica game here at Reliant Stadium in July (14-15 I think)? My friend who is Jamaican is getting some tickets for us to go. It should be fun, the U.S. Mexico friendly a few years back at Reliant had a great atmostphere despite the conservative play on the field.
The U.S. put on a clinic. Glad to see the Americans clicking. Mexico's game was boring, they didn't get shot outside El Volcan (Monterrey) for playing that bad. It should have been 4 or even 5 to zip regardless of who was out... [see previous post]... imprecise passes, overshooting the goal, bad defending...
great game. The shot by the Panama guy that hit the post was wicked. That thing was shot out of a cannon. The saves were awesome.
Man, Keller had some AWESOME saves last night. That one sequence where he blocked 3 shots in like 4 secs (all were VERY hard shots). The dude is awesome!
Andres Cantor from Telemundo said not even KELLER could have stopped that if it was just a tad to the right... Casey threw himself in vain, that shot was gone long before he got there. That was about the only highlight for Panama . I saw the game. Keller kicks ASS. You see the way he chews the gum??? Like nothing is happening... he looks serene, calm, and any other "i'm cool" adjective you want to use.
