The Gold Cup starts today. Houston will be hosting two doubleheaers; Cuba vs. Honduras and Mexico vs Panama on June 13 and two quarter finals on June 17. FSC has the English language rights, Spanish broadcasts will be on Galavision, Telefutura, and Univision. Schedule/Table Group A Costa Rica Haiti Canada Guadeloupe Group B USA Trinidad & Tobago Guatemala El Salvador Group C Mexico Panama Honduras Cuba
I actually think USA should be able to win their group. I usually have no faith in them, Trinidad & tobago's speed will cause problems, but US should be able to pull this off for once.
If USA doesn't win their group the players should be beaten without mercy. Anything short of the final would be a failure.
T&T shouldn't offer much of anything since their entire 23 man squad from the World Cup is on strike right now due to bonus money.
looks like costa rica and canada are playing right now. canada is up 2 1 in the second half. games almost over.
Canada always seems to do fairly well in this (won it in 2000). Are DeRo and Onsted playing? I firmly expect a US Mexico final. There's no reason that shouldn't happen. With it being on US soil, I certainly expect a US victory, again.
Ha...! No wonder people born and raised in the United States hate soccer... they're forced to watch it on cable. That is really messed up. When are English-speaking networks going to wake up? It's also LIVE on TELEFUTURA (no cable needed). DAMN, I keep forgetting to send a NASTY FLAMING email to Univision for not having ANY effin' games on HD. In fact, all games on either TELEFUTURA, UNIVISION, or GALAVISION... they have CC in Spanish. VAMOS México! It's HUGO SANCHEZ or no one.

I LOVE the beautiful game more than any sport but I just can't get into this tourney. I can't wait for next summer!!! Oh yeah, where is Guadalupe?
It's in the Caribbean, it's a state or territory of France but somehow has a team in CONCACAF but isn't allowed to have their own team in FIFA. They actually played pretty well against Haiti, I was pleasantly surprised by that. The US game wasn't too great but we got the win. Hopefully Rico and Ching will get some playing time in the next game.
Thanks dude...don't underestimate these small countries some of them have athletes. Where would the Dutch Natl team be without all those players from Suriname although Van Basten has run most of them out
