Because that's what this place is coming to, several posters saying they hope Lin breaks his back, one guy posting that he hopes Lin gets run over by a bus and loses his life. Another guy saying Lin's fans eyes are too small because they are Asian so they can't see how much Lin sucks. And none of these posters have been banned, and other posters reply to them in agreement and posting smiley faces. Call him a scrub, call him a bad ball player, that's fine, we're here to talk hoops but to take it to such a personal level to wish injury and bodily harm on a person, that's crossing the line. Is this the type of people who frequent this site? Disgusting culture in here, you guys give basketball fans a bad name.

    chill just report + ignore

wrong way to express their anger, but mods can't always see these. that's why there is a report button.

Not too sure on that, one poster has said this kind of crap several times for all to see in game threads and other threads yet he has not been banned. Is it against the rules here to wish injury or death on a player? serious question.

    Report and ignore.

    Some posters don't know better.

No. I just politely wish he goes away very soon. None of that extra stuff needed

Jeez... did you not see what Houston fans wanted to happen to Matt Schaub?

This is not racism... or stereotyping... its getting mad at a player (a well-paid player, mind you) for making bone-headed mistakes. Not just one mistake... multiple mistakes... potential series-losing mistakes.

Can't find the bus one right now but it's out there I will post when I find it again. The one poster "Ace" has posted several times he wishes Lin breaks his back, can you check post history on this site? Just check him out if you can. I will try to find the racist one about the eyes and get back, so many posts to dig through but trust me I aint BS'ing, it's real.

Just add on ignore list. It won't affect you no more.

Point is Lin made a serious mistake untimingly cost us a game. You would expect he gets torched. People say crazy stuff all the time. You just have to live with that. Best way is just shut those people out.
