Hornets, Magic, Pistons -- i have weird reasons for rooting for all these teams.

Kings -- process of elimination in the west...can't bring myself to root for mavs, spurs or lakers...i don't HATE the kings....so go kings.

    Spurs...Lakers...Timberwolves?...

I don't really root for anybody. I just like watching the intense battling!!

But if it was the Kings vs. Lakers...I would have to cheer for the Lakers. :)

I root for the Mavs, but since I know they won't win I'll probably end up rooting for the Kings.

What it comes down to is anyone but the Lakers.

The Kings are my favorite outside of Houston. They are just so much fun to watch on offense. C'mon Kings!

For me, anyone who plays against the Lakers or the Jazz. I don't know what I'll do if those two teams meet in the playoffs.

Whoever's playing the Lakers or Jazz. Or if they play each other, I want them both to lose. :)

I'd have to root for either SA or DAL to win it all. Let them win it for the next couple of years until we are ready to contend.

Imagine Texas being the NBA capital of the world for the next 8 or so years!

Otherwise, let it be anyone but LA or SAC.

    My Dark Horse pick?

The Bucks. Payton deserves a trophy, and Sam may be able to help him get it.

In the west, the Lakers and the Mavs.

In the east....does the east have any teams? Should they just be playing for some big official 2nd place trophy or bronze medal? The talent levels team wise is INSANLEY weighed more towards the west.

Well, if the east had a team or two, I'd probably go with a squad from N'Orleans, and Milwaukee.

The Kings. The way Bibby came close to eclipsing Kobe Bryant's performance last year in the WCF was nothing short of awe-inspiring. This time with Keon Clark and Jimmy Jackson surprising many theres no other team on my radar that I am more ready to name the heir apparent than the Sacramento Kings.

I started going for them after they knocked the Rockets out in the first round 4 years ago, mainly to stop the spurs from winning, but I 've been a fan ever since...
