Some people say that the Magic got more for Tmac than the Lakers got for Shaq. So who would you rather have? And would you mortgage our future and trade Yao for Shaq for a possibilty of a ring this year.
The Lakers also got a first round draft pick. I think the Lakers got the better end of the deal. Cat will be gone after this year. Cato is usually pretty nonexistent on the court and you have to live and die by Steve's play. (Which has been good so far this year). I would rank the players (skill wise) like this 1. Steve 2. Lamar 3. Cat 4. Brian Grant 5. Caron Butler 6. Kelvin Cato with Cat being able to bolt, it would put the Lakers with a better haul.
