Man, I have been a die-hard Rocket fan since they got here, but deals like this make me want to watch another team. So who should it be?

Utah? San Antonio? no..no... Dallas. What about the Suns or Knicks?

Who freaking cares....I am as close as I have ever been to giving up on these guys!!!

Relax, the offseason's not over. Hell, this trade's not even done. We're just all too focused the draft that we don't see the big picture.

At least wait and see what team they have out there next year before you judge the offseason moves.

Well I certainly won't spend another $149 on the NBA League Pass from Directv that's for sure. Why waste money to watch a sure fire 2007 NBA lottery team. I KNEW that Lindsay & CD would find a way to mess up this draft that's why I didn't devote too much time analyzing potential no. 8 picks like some have been doing on this board. Those morons wouldn't know how to pick NBA talent if it fell on top of them.

    freaking bandwagoner.

don't even dare call yourself a "die hard" if a draft pick has you rooting for the mavs. that's WEAK.

go rockets..even if i hate your decision making, tonight.

I'll still root for the rockets but every year it seems like it is getting harder to. We take steps forward then few more backwards. The league is in a youth movement where athletic teams can utilize the new rules to their advantages. JVG is stuck in his own world and is still relying on " veteran savy" in the half court set to win. We have to have a mix of that plus youth and speed on the break if we want to suceed. If you look at Dallas they could have beaten the heat if they had solid interior play. We should have kept Gay and swit and used our MLE on Mike James. I understand we need 3point shooting but c'mon these moves seemed like desperation rather than GM manipulation.

Calm Down- JVG will go and so will CD- eventually it will all be cleared away
[about three years down the road] in the meantime we can always enjoy Yao Ming!

Ok so maybe I am overreacting. This has to be one of the worst drafts I can remember. Worse that Eddie Griffin, Bryce Drew, Mirsad Turk#cke^&@, Derick Chevious, John Turner, Rod Rohds, etc.....

Not optimistic that this is going to turn out well. Swift was our only viable trade option. We just increased our pay role and subtracted one player. Not that Lucas Jr. and three more of his D-league buddies wouldn't look great in a Rockets uni, but I was expecting to get better not worse over this draft!

My soul is in mourning. Just trade Yao to the Lakers and I'll root for them.

I don't know if I'll become fans of the teams, but I'll definitely be interested in following a lot of my favorite draftees: Maurice Ager (Mavs), Ronnie Brewe and Dee Brown (Utah), and... Rudy Gay (pains me to say, Memphis)...

i'll always root for the Rockets, horrible team or not. i always am pulling for them to win even when i know it's improbable. it does hurt when you feel the organization is doing some of the stupidest moves possible but all you can do is gripe and moan. if they go on to make the playoffs and go deep, i'll be happy as hell. if they have another lottery season i'll be b****ing about the moves. i'm a fan.

I will root for the Rockets but I don't see anything that gives me hope for the future. Yao and T-Mac need help. Battier won't get the job done.

Rocket Red for life. Through thick and thin. You dont jump ship for any reason if you're a fan. Yes we're all pissed off now, but rooting for another team? People actually mentioning the Mavs in the GARM?? Seriously, it's disgusting. Bad decision making, but somehow, I think i'll live.

It could be worse. We could have Isiah Thomas and Isiah Thomas.

I'm still a Rox fan, but I'm not going to pretend I support this trade when I think it's incredibly lopsided and a cruel joke. I love the Rox, but I'm not some blind sheep, this was a horrible move. I think keeping Gay would've been great, but even with a trade they could've gotten more given up less.

If our front office honestly thinks that we can win a championship with mcgrady, yao and sub par role players.. they are living in a fantasy world. Miami showed that it takes alot of quality players to pull it off even with Wade going insane in the playoffs. We have 2 stars and now we have no youth besides hayes and heads and we are even more slow. It makes me real upset that our team is heading in this direction as if we are behind in the trends of the league. The NBA is a business and it changed it's rules to make more money. Why can't we take advantage of it ?

The Rockets. I am a Rocket fan, not a Rudy Gay fan. You can suit up Beelzebub or even Kobe Bryant (well, maybe) and I will still root for the Rockets.

How come this is the first time I have seen half of the screen names that are screaming their heads off about this trade? WTF? calm down. Thank goodness we drafted Harold Miner... oh wait...
