I thought I was the only one noticed it. Not just here (look at the 1st three posters. Lol). Take a look at the KPJ trade threads. All the usual KPJ Stans are in favor of a trade, instead of waive him out right and just cut ties. I wonder why.

Only a couple of weeks left before training camp begins. Ready to get past the BS and get the party started. High expectations no doubt. Have not been this excited about a season in a while.

I was reading that and thinking "didn't people say that last year, too?" I'm sure we'll be better simply by the addition of veteran talent alone, but how much better? I don't know. But I don't care as I'll be watching the games and either suffering through losses, suffering through the mediocrity of a 30-35 win team, or surprisingly "enjoying" mediocrity and a 40+-win team. Here's to potential mediocrity as a stepping stone up.

I'm loyal to the rockets as in the players (ones who aren't criminals), the city, and our fan community.

But please do not get all worked up that some of us aren't going to join the cult of Rafael Stone and Tillman Fertitta. Even if the Rockets "kick ass" this year, I will not hesitate one bit to continue to criticize the leadership that has nothing to do with playing actual basketball.

 

I won't say I told you so if we lose a large amount. It brings me no pleasure for my
favorite team to struggle.

I will eat crow if the Rockets win a large amount of games with this current crew.



I had the Rockets at 31 wins before Vegas did. That was with KPj providing
some semblance of outside shooting off the bench....now I have the Rockets
at 26 wins.

Our players are not, "we are going to take away all your 15 ft and in shots.....prove
you can beat us by making only long mid range to 3-pointer" type players.

Unfortunately our players are not pure shooters....they need to mix in layups and free throws
to be successful. Ask them to each shoot 8 (3PA's) with little to no layups, dunks, free throws
and you can expect poor shooting outcomes.

It's not the players fault.....it's team management, "Poor Team Construct."

It's never ending because the team is not perfect. There will always be something to complain about.

It has reached a crescendo because the team has gone to the lowest point in its history.

 

Let's try to pick the next bad boy. We just lost Nix and Porter so who will the folks who like to complain focus on.

First choice Dillon Brooks every time he has a bad game there will be b****ing about how he was overpaid.

I predict it may well be Green if he is not an All Star by next year or even sooner if we don't come to close to playin for the playoffs.this

 

Hell yeah, towards the end of the coming season we're going to start to be seen as the young team that has a great culture on and off the court. A lot of people are going to jump on the bandwagon.
