He's only 22. He's got the physical tools to be very good, but how good? Just what will we be giving up if he's in a trade package for Bosh?

I recall the same thing being asked about Malik Badiane.

A starter for a bad team. A servicable backup for a good team.

His ceiling has got to be at least 10 feet high, right? Maybe he's got a bunch of those glow-in-the-dark stars all over it. Good question.

    LOL...exactly.

I think Hill has a chance to be an excellent role player on a good team. He can go up for a rebound twice before a lot of guys can get up once. I'm trying to think of a player to compare him to.....maybe Kenyon Martin?

His ceiling is actually way higher than y'all are giving him credit for IMO. Its probably unlikely that he reaches his potential and closes all the major holes in his game.... but he looks to have the capacity to accomplish some special things. Right now he is like a Great Dane puppy trying to grow into his own.

How good? Not a Bosh level. I think a big reason to get Bosh is the rockets really need win right now because of the Yao situation, so you have to give up something to get something.

Only Hakeem had that pogo stick ability you speak of. I compared him to Hakeem before in terms of raw abilities, but due to the idol worship Hakeem has, I was laughed off. We will see in a few years. Shrugs

Jordan Hill will never, ever compare to the Dream. Of course there's idol worship, you think a Bulls forum wouldn't revere Michael Jordan?

The guy is still human. He was just also a really great basketball player. I am comparing Jordan Hill to Hakeem when he was Akeem in college; very raw, athletic, agile, and a quick 2nd jumper.

His ceiling for the Rockets? A great trade asset to get a legit and championship READY bigman this offseason.
