    So we ripped open a machine at my office, and this is one of it's parts. I'm completely enamored with it. I feel like I can repurpose it into something really awesome.

    It used to be a controller for a printing press machine.

    It has buttons and clickers. I feel like a 5 year old. :grin:

    Someone give me a home project to do, I want to make this into a controller for something...just don't have the engineering knowledge to know what direction to push off into.

    I see all of you have had the insanely awesome ideas of re purposing this into magnificent gadgetry....but sadly no one has the technical know how.

    Come on internet, work your magic dammit. All I've gotten on google is how to build arcades (still cool, but not what im going for).

    If all fails I'm gonna try to make it into a sound effect box.

    So just to be clear, we're talking about actual canned goods? I was sure that being given two cans of artichoke hearts was going to be a euphamism for something else. :(
