Are you guys happy? I think this is the best matchup we could ask for. The only thing that sucks about it is that if we will the first round, we face the Lakers. The only senario left now is that if Portland looses tonight, we get HCA. If they win, they get it. But we now know who we will play in the first round. I think we can take this in 6. Your take?
My take: **** the Rockets for choking in the biggest game of the season. Back to topic, Rockets in 6 with HCA. Rockets in 7 w/o
I don't know. We beat NOH by 20 & then lose to dallas giving up a 14 point lead in the 3rd. Dr. Jeckle - Mr. Hyde resides in Houston
so you think the rockets would win game 7 in portland? i think we win in 6 with HCA, but we HAVE to win in 6 without hca, if it goes 7 i dont like our chances at all.
ugh... worst scenario. this is the team I dont want to play in the first round. Yao is going to have to drop 30+ every game for us to have a chance.
POR -33-7 home record HOU - 20-21 road record we just p***ed away HCA. we still have selfish losers starting at our PG and SG spot and a center who is completely useless once someone fronts him. am I happy? uhhh no. See ya next year.
a week or two ago it seemed like this would be the situation all the talk was about playing portland and we were fine with that. then things happened and we had the chance to have the perfect route - NOLA or dallas and the denver. now we are back to square one - lets not lose our confidence! this is the same team we beat a few sundays ago. we can do this.
That loss just killed the Rockets. I think Portland is a great matchup but it would have been nice to not face LA until the WCF. It says a lot about this team that they couldn't win this one. Although I think this loss is on Adelman. I rarely blame a coach like this but Adelman kept sending Scola out there to get killed and if that wasn't bad enough he left Von on Howard long enough for Howard to get off his offensively and then get everyone else involved. Dallas played well down the stretch but if Adelman had kept Chuck on Dirk and put Battier on Howard the Rockets would have gone into the 4th with a nice cushion. I hope this isn't what to expect from Adelman in the playoffs because it won't be fun if his substitutions are 10 minutes too late.
Well, we would have beaten Portland in Portland had Roy not made that *cough* miraculous *cough* three pointer. So I'm not worry about our matchup against Portland. I'm worried about the Lakers when we get there.
I don't understand the seedings. Utah was the division winner 2 years ago, and they were the 5 seed. How come we aren't playing Portland? They own the tiebreaker over SA, winning the series 3-1.
LOOK, WE DONT KNOW IF WE WILL HAVE HCA OR NOT. DENVER SEEMS TO BE TRYING TO WIN, SO LETS JUST WAIT FOR THE GAME TO END.
