    Getting points wasnt the problem.

    Defending was. Getting a true center to pair Nene with and we protect the paint and dominate in the post.

    we weren't that good before the trade. at least we have extra cap space and a player with higher trade value than the guys we gave away.

    Gasol can score, but his problem has always been inability to thrive in the postseason. Do you think he learned anything while he was in LA?

    Pau will be fine being the go to guy, now that he's not playing with ball hog Kobe. Bud can step in and fill the void also. Plus we will be way better defensively this year.

    Come on now, Pau is totally good for 40ppg! He's just been holding back while deferring to Kobe...

    Somewhere in his advanced stats *cough*, I'm sure Morey noticed this and is planning another big move to obtain a scorer. Until then, I'll have to hold back judgement... but if this hypothetical complementary move doesn't happen, then I'll be ready with the torches and pitchforks.

    Well the problem with this thread is that your acting like the games start tomorrow and the off season is over. If it's true that this trade has us at about 11 million in cap space which could escalate to 16 million if they amnesty Thabeet, I would suggest waiting to ask such questions when we have a better picture of what this team will look like come the regular season.
