So...was this out-of-left-field? Or did anyone speculate on getting Griffin?

No one in the sane mind could speculate Griffin falling down to #7 in the first place.

If someone knew this, could they please let me know. There is a small matter regarding the state lottery I would like their opinion on.

I mentioned the possibility of Griffin, but thought we would trade up to 4 to get him.
Its in my thread about Abdur-Rahim, a few pages back.

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

My mock (#960) had Griffin falling to #7 and being selected by the Nets-- which is exactly what happened... sort of!

I was wishfully hoping for us to get a chance at White or Johnson. To get Griffon for what we gave up is unthinkable.

We are good, but we have been are amazingly lucky 2 of the 3 last drafts.

ROXRAN: I thought of you when it was announced [IMG]... you and your "i have a gut feeling something is happening" post.

Three cheers for Roxran's intuition! Happen to have any gut feelings about oh... Kelvin Cato, perchance?
