NBA will just have to realign soon. The West is already so much better than the East it's not even funny and now 2 of the best prospects of the last decade are going to be in the West.

Portland can be a playoff team now with Oden & their young core of players including Randolph, Roy, & Aldridge.

And if Seattle manages to keep Rashard Lewis, with Ray Allen & now Kevin Durant you can throw them in as a contender too.

    Just fantastic...

Move the Pacers to the West and the Hornets to East.

    This goes in cycles.

Remember when the Sixers -- Celtics - Pistons were all good.

We can't realign everytime this happens -- the best team should still rise to the top.

I was thinking the same thing. Not that I'm worried about teams getting better than the Rox, but I wanted them both to go to the East just to balance things out some. If Pau goes to Chicago or NY or KG goes to Chicago or NY, that'll help.

Why not stay west and east but seed the playoffs overall 1-16?

And why keep the same brackets, do like the NFL, every round the best seeds get home court advantage.

This would save us the Utah Vs San Antonio deal for the conference finals.
