In comparison to lower bowl seating and nosebleed seating... The nosebleeds are way more intense. I've noticed a lot of people in the lower bowl would rather gossip and etc, instead of paying attention to the game and cheering the Rockets on! Nosebleed fans are pretty intense.
Only sat in the nosebleeds once, game 6 vs the Lakers 2 years ago. It really was a great time. Would do it again.
Rick folks down in the lower bowl are too sophisticated and have too good of reputations to be participating in rowdy activities with the hooligans of Houston that LOVE the Rockets.
The upper bowl is where the proletariat hope for a basketball team to bring happiness into their otherwise pitiful lives. The lower bowl is where the upper middle class go after receiving tickets from their companies. They will usually show up around 8:10 and leave with 5 minutes left in the game no matter what the score is. They will wear their polo shirts, play angry birds on their iPhones, make idle conversation about the stock market with random people next to them, and grow increasingly annoyed whenever somebody actually shows a shred of enthusiasm toward the game they are feigning interest for once every 10-12 minutes.
I always sit in the lower bowl and sometimes courtside and I'm always the loudest around me. I had 3rd row courtside seats and I was standing up the whole time during overtime against the Grizzlies, and someone in the lower bowl seats behind me actually had the audacity to yell at me to sit down. I told him "It's overtime, are you kidding me? Come down here and talk to me, oh wait you can't so shut the ***** up!"
My buddy got some tickets from from his dad's work and we got to go to tonight's game. We got to sit in amazing seats behind the basket next to the Rockets bench. The seats next to me were empty until after half time. Ridiculous. http://occip.it/pt4gosh1
