    This isnt a bash tmac thread.

    Whats everyone solution to Tmac. Hearing that Tmac knee feels as good as it did last year pre injury hurts. Do you sit Tmac? He himself has said this something that wont get better by resting but how long can he continue playing on one knee? Hes a huge liability on defense.

    You cant trade tmac either due to high risks on taking him on.

    Give him tapes of McHale and Olajuwon and convince to bring his game inside. I'm not saying he needs to be a hardcore banger like Barkley, but some sort of Worthy/Posey hybrid.

    My solution has been to seriously lower my expectations.

    Tmac only plays for the playoff. Don't expect him to go all out right now.

    Wait till his contract runs out...........but seriously if he was a horse he would've been shot a year ago.

    When Tmac is off the court,our offense always stagnant,our offense is ugly,Still,his shooting percentage is so low.So I prefer Tmac as our PG :rolleyes:

    If Morey knew Mac would be this way he'd pulled that trade for Billups in a heart beat. I mean at this point it's addition by subtraction because Mac has nothing to very little to give this team 50% of the time.

    The best answer.

    It's really pathetic when even the national media talks about him as a has-been at the ripe age of 29. That used to be when guys were in their prime but I guess the stress of making all that money and b****ing and crying to the media really takes its toll on a guy.

    #1 as long as we make the playoffs..
    #2 and everyone is healthy at that time..

    I'm not worried...

    we started out way worse last year

    if he's hurt and feels he's not 100%, sit him for however long it takes (unlikely to happen);

    look for good trades (unlikely to happen);

    hope for a miracle that he reverts back to his old self (more unlikely).

    so, realistically -

    play out his contract and say goodbye;
    meanwhile lower your expectation of him by 50%;
    for those die-hard fans of him, lower your expectation by 80%.

    sit him in the bench.. and tell him his days of being a volume shooting starter are over.. make him your low post threat and passer off the bench since we have none there... Landry gets his offense even more spoon-fed.. so does everyone else.. from shooter.. to cutter..

    Funny how Yao is the one who sits on the sideline tonight and is more injury prone than Tracy but after a loss this type crap shows up like clockwork. The national media also talks about Yao as a soft, never was, that gets his shot blocked regularly, dunked on by point guards, injury prone nice guy. The reality is we need both of these guys and Artest to step up and be more vocal.

    His post game is very impressive. He needs to be a close-midrange player now. There is no reason for a 6'8" guy to be living on the perimeter. He can shoot over people just as easily from 10 feet as he can from 30.
