anyways, i am in this gaming clan, -FK-. anyways, the founder xfired me while i was playing a game, with a link to our forum where he basically said he quit because he is tired of all the jewish jokes and bossed around by the adults in our clan, he also said something about too much stress from this crap and what not he said he is getting blood clots (which i dont see how its possible), and joined TEE clan. so he quits and the rest of the leaders decided to take over and form a concil, which i am included.we managed to secure most of the funding for this clan (mainly cash for the servers and what not), and most of the good players. but with this happening, some of our members decides to quit, some good players, so with this happening i decided to pull our former leader back in, just for namesake only so that people wont start leaving. now that we pulled him back, we guarenteed him a spot on the concil but we all know its for namesake only. anyways, pretty r****ded if lol, but lots of politics even in gaming huh.

yeah i quit gaming clans this past month. What bunch of collective dicks gathered together. I was talented, but nice and everyone else was talented but a prick. Jesus, some of the things said are just horrible.

You won't find more e-tough e-thugs in the world than in a gaming clan.

sounds like some exciting news though, really. i had my first intramurals triple double tonight, if we're sharing personal information. 25points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists - my team won 72-57. it was fun...

I didn't really understand the whole clan thing until I was recruited by a COD2 clan a few months back. It's been pretty fun. They have a no tolerance for childish behavior, such as cussing and name calling etc. They run a couple of real good servers, and take part in the TWL matches etc.

It's been pretty fun, and it's nice to game with some mature people for once.

Your intramural scorekeeper keeps track of rebounds and assists?

It's hard to eschew the politics of gaming clans.

I remember growing up on the mean streets of Katy, Texas as a kid. Back in the day, we really didn't have 'clans', per se, but, rather, 'cliques'. That was my first taste into the dog-eat-dog world of gaming.

Sometimes you wanted to play Super Mario -- because that's how you rolled. But somebody would try to punk you into playing Mike Tyson's Punchout. That's when things got ugly. I'm just saying I saw things. Bad things.

Fast forward the tape to present day. It's like once you get in a clan they won't let you out. Like they own you or something.

All of the in-fighting, stress, and pressure is enough to make a man wanna go all 'Magic:The Gathering' on someone.

    Keep ya head up, kid.

I feel old, I've been in online game clans/guilds since 95. I used to always diss the girl im with to play online games when i was young :D

I haven't been in a clan/guild since...3-4 years now. I dont find games as appealing as they used to be. I guess another reason why is because im a power gamer. For example, first month ffxi came out on pc, I was level 45-50 while all my buddies in real life were level 20-25. I just made a group of japanese friends and always partied with them.

i used to have a Starcraft clan back in the day. like 98~2000.. we had a website, meetings, allies, etc etc.. i remember we tried to keep it elite(only good to very good players) by having certain requirements to join. they would have to play a current member and win 2 out of 3 games.. we'd go on battle.net and regulate on other clans.. lol those were the days.....

Starcraft rocked. I was really really good at that game. I micro'd in that game like no other. My favorite thing to do was play as terrans and mass nukes. Ill shuttle in the snipers in the cornor of their base, invisi and set off two nukes that'll destroy their base + all their harvesters (whatever their called). Then I'll go around and nuke the rest of their base, good times.

Anyone have audio of that one gaming group who talked to each other while playing a game where they had to complete missions and one of the dudes goes crazy and starts shooting his own teamates and ruins the mission. John and Lance played it on 610 a year ago or so. It was freaking hilarious. If anyone has it, please post...I would like to hear it again. Thanks.
