Interesting story, get home this afternoon my mother explains to me that my dad flipped and rolled his truck multiple times. Thankfully he was alright, this all happened around the Woodway/Voss area. Apparently ice caused the truck to slide up on the curb and then flip over 2006 1500 4X4 Dodge Ram-Totaled. Next up.... My Grandmother, being the nice woman she is lets him use her older 2008 four door infinite that she just recently bought out of her lease about a year ago. Well, I get a call from my brother this afternoon saying that the infiniti just got totaled. Apparently the car was parked and somehow a Mustang hit him from the front and totaled the infiniti. This time he ended up having to be taken by ambulance as precaution and get a few staples on the back of his head. Just had to get this story out, the chance of getting into two accidents in a day and totaling 2 cars has to be near improbable.
in before the asian female joke. oops....not I can say one thing...I've had multiple accidents in one day...albeit not of the car variety. would tell a story, but the Captain Kirk and the red shirts in pain is enough.
Your dad is fortunate. This accident happened near Conroe last Friday due to the ice. Worst accident I've ever seen and I've seen close to 20,000 during my career: http://montgomerycountypolicereporter.com/?p=20910
This is the exact reason why I wouldn't get a Smart Car or any ultra small car in Texas. The trucks will annihilate you in any wreck.
looks like the truck got annihilated lol.. maybe not a smart car, but a quick nimble car is the best for AVOIDING accidents. People think like they are GOING to get in an accident, so they go into a car purchase thinking bigger = better. But if you avoid the accident, then you don't have to worry
I agree, I have a Mazda 3. I was just talking about physics of the situation and the abundance of enormous trucks in Texas - Where every single month is truck month.
